Powerful. Anti-aging. Soothing. All-natural. The simplest homemade beauty recipe for all skin types, especially sensitive. This beauty recipe is one of my favourite DIY skincare treatments. Not only it does wonders for my skin and has an enchanting scent, but it is also super simple to make and requires only three ingredients!

This rejuvenating serum is rich in Vitamin E and Vitamin A, natural antioxidants that are great at repairing damaged tissue and reducing scars and wrinkles. It’s also a natural source of Vitamin K, well-known for soothing redness and calming reactive skin.

Here are some benefits of the selected ingredients:

Rosehip seed oil: deeply moisturizes, treats wrinkles, brightens skin, boosts collagen formation, reduces inflammation, protects against sun damage, helps skin regain elasticity and fade scars.

Rose Otto essential oil: reduces signs of aging, protects from UV damage, helps rejuvenate skin, treats acne and blemishes, promotes skin healing, has astringent and detoxifying properties.

Ho Wood essential oil: supports healthy regeneration of skin cells, helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles, softens scar tissues, maintains the elasticity of the skin, has antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Ingredients & Instructions:

  • 3oz organic Rosehip seed oil
  • 5 drops of undiluted Rose Otto essential oil (also known as Rosa Damascena, Bulgarian rose, and Turkish rose)
  • 3 drops of Ho Wood essential oil (can be replaced by Rosewood essential oil that has similar properties)

Nota Bene: You can use diluted Rose Otto essential oil as well. For instance if your oil comes diluted at 10% like this one, add 50 drops instead of 5.

Mix all the ingredients. Pour in a 3.3 oz sterilized glass bottle with dropper.

Apply three drops of Rose facial oil and massage this mixture all over your face and neck until you feel entirely moisturized.

Apply this DIY anti-aging serum at night. You will notice immediate results as it makes the skin softer and more supple. With continued, daily use it helps smooth fine lines and wrinkles.
